eSID 03-06 Gen3 for Saab 9-3 II 2003–2006

The eSID 03-06 Generation 3 (extended Saab Information Display) adds numerous additional vehicle data, diagnostic displays, and comfort features to the Saab 9-3 II of model years 2003–2006.

The information is displayed directly via the original Saab Information Display (SID) – without any additional display in the interior.

Suitable for

Saab 9-3 II (YS3F) model years 2003–2006

Specifically for vehicles with the early interior and the SID at the top of the dashboard.

For Saab 9-3 from model year 2007 onwards, the separate eSID3 is required.

New Generation 3

Generation 3 has been completely redesigned and makes installation significantly easier.

Instead of the previous solution with multiple components, Gen3 consists of only one unit, which is installed behind the ICM.

• Coolant temperature
• Intake air temperature
• Lambda / AFR
• Battery voltage
• Automatic transmission oil temperature
• Instantaneous fuel consumption
• Consumption and trip data
• Acceleration measurements
• Braking distance and braking time
• Tire pressure and tire temperature for vehicles equipped accordingly
• Further engine and sensor data

0–100 km/h and performance displays

The eSID offers various performance functions and can be used for acceleration measurements, among other things.

Particularly interesting for performance-enhanced Saabs:

• 0–100 km/h measurement
• Calculated power
• Calculated torque
• Boost pressure
• Air mass
• Further relevant engine data

Everything is displayed directly via the original SID.

Diagnostic functions

The eSID can read and clear error codes from the vehicle's control units.

In addition to the extra displays, this makes it a practical diagnostic tool for everyday Saab use.

Functions for diesel vehicles

For supported diesel engines, additional information about the diesel particulate filter can be displayed.

This includes, among other things:

• DPF fill status
• Regeneration status
• Further DPF data
• Option for forced DPF regeneration

Additional comfort functions

In addition to vehicle data, the eSID offers numerous additional functions, including:

• 3-/4-way lane-change indicators
• Individual welcome message
• Individual welcome icon
• Adjustable wiper interval
• Automatic hazard light activation during hard braking
• Extended fog light functions

Original Saab look is preserved

The eSID fits perfectly into the original vehicle concept.

No additional display is required, and the interior remains visually original.
